Body Scrub & Aromatherapy Oil Massage – 90 Minutes
Ninety minutes of full-body exfoliation followed by an aromatherapy oil massage, using the spa's own award-winning natural scrub and herbal oils.
- Duration
- 90 minutes
- Max group
- 2 pax

Two treatments in one ninety-minute session, in the order that makes sense: exfoliate first, then massage oil into freshly cleared skin so it actually absorbs. The result is the one people notice in the mirror as well as in their shoulders — skin visibly brighter and softer, muscles thoroughly relaxed.
The scrub is the spa's own, and it is not a bought-in product. The house range is made with active ingredients extracted from local Thai herbs, and the coffee scrub in that line won a top award in 2017 from the Thai Science and Technology Institute for its soothing, brightening and anti-aging effects. It is worked over the whole body, lifting off the dust, sunscreen and general grime of a Thai itinerary, then rinsed away in the shower.
With the skin clean and open, the second half is a full-body aromatherapy oil massage with the spa's warm herbal oil: back, shoulders, neck, arms, legs and feet, with long flowing strokes at a pressure you choose. Because the scrub has already relaxed you and warmed the skin, this tends to be the part guests remember least — most fall asleep.
Treatments take place in a private room with a warm massage bed at a small garden spa in the heart of the old town, minutes from Chiang Mai Gate. Free hotel pick-up around the old town is included, along with herbal welcome tea, towels and showers. A good choice for the day before you fly home, or the day after a dusty trek.

Yes. The scrub is rinsed off in the shower before the oil massage begins, which is why the oil absorbs so well afterwards.
The 120-minute version adds a steam bath before the scrub, which opens the pores and makes the exfoliation more effective. If you have the time and want the full ritual, take the longer one; this 90-minute version covers the essentials.
You undress to your comfort level and are draped throughout, with only the working area uncovered. Towels and showers are provided.
Yes — free pick-up around the old town area is advertised on the brochure. Give us your hotel name when you book and we will confirm the arrangement and the collection time. If you are staying outside the old town, tell us and we will check.
Yes, we recommend booking at least 24 hours ahead, and more in high season (November to February) when the good spas in Chiang Mai fill up in the evenings.
Yes — private rooms are available, including couples' rooms. Say so when you book so the right room is held for you.
Bring almost nothing. Loose spa clothing, towels and everything else needed is provided, and there are showers on site. Comfortable clothes to change back into afterwards are the only real recommendation.
Never expected, but it is customary in Thai spa culture and always appreciated. Fifty to a hundred baht for a therapist you were happy with is normal.
