The same course, the same swing, the same buffet — everything except the luge kart. If you have no interest in driving a gravity cart down a mountain, or you simply want the flying, this is the package: 38 platforms and 21 zipline cables strung across a valley above a coffee-growing village on the far side of Doi Saket, up to two hours of activity, for 200 THB less than the version with the kart.
The circuit is the big one. Cables of 350 and 400 metres build towards a 900-metre flight, the longest on the course, and in between there are five sky bridges — one of them a 30-metre span — six staircase sections, a tree house and a rope abseil straight down into the forest. The platforms climb high enough that the whole Doi Saket range opens out behind you, and because the site is well beyond the Mae Rim tourist corridor, most of the time you are looking at nothing man-made at all.
The big giant swing is included, and it deserves its own paragraph. You are hoisted up, released, and swing through a full 360 degrees among the branches of a very large tree. There is a fraction of a second at the top of the arc where the harness goes slack and you are, briefly, weightless. People come off it laughing in a slightly unhinged way.
The site sits above Pa Pan, a forest-conservation village in Thep Sadet on the far side of Doi Saket, out past the hot spring on route 3005. It is further from the city than the Mae Rim courses and it feels it: coffee is grown in the valley, the air is noticeably cooler and cleaner, and the views from the upper platforms run out across the Doi Saket ranges. Six pick-up rounds a day run from 07:00 through to 13:00, each one returning you six hours later, so you can take an early start or make it an afternoon. Lunch is an unlimited Thai buffet served at the restaurant beside the course, with tea and coffee and a view straight out over the Doi Saket mountains. The valley grows some of the better-known coffee in the country, which is worth remembering before you order.

Hotel pick-up in Chiang Mai
Six rounds a day: 07:00-07:30, 08:00-08:30, 09:00-09:30, 11:00-11:30, 12:00-12:30 and 13:00-13:30, each returning six hours later. The route runs east then north past Doi Saket hot spring on route 3005.
- 08:15
Arrival at Pa Pan, kit and safety briefing
Petzl helmet, harness, twin pulleys and lanyards fitted, then the briefing on the double-lock system, body position on the cable and how the staff at each station work. Sport shoes are compulsory.
- 08:40
First platforms, the 30-metre sky bridge and the tree house
The circuit opens on shorter cables and works up through the first sky bridges, the tree house and the staircase sections that climb between levels.
- 09:30
The long flights — 350 m, 400 m and 900 m
The cables lengthen out across the valley, ending on the 900-metre run, the longest on the course, with the Doi Saket ranges filling the view.
- 10:20
The rope abseil
A rope descent straight down into the forest from one of the platforms — a slower and, for a lot of people, more nerve-testing proposition than any of the cables.
- 10:45
The big giant swing
Hoisted, dropped and swung through a full 360 degrees among the branches. The finale of the circuit and the thing most people remember.
- 11:15
Unlimited Thai buffet with a mountain view
Lunch at the restaurant beside the course: unlimited Thai buffet, tea and coffee, and the Doi Saket mountains in front of you.
- 12:30
Return transfer to your hotel
Back to Chiang Mai. Each round returns you six hours after your pick-up window.
Exactly one thing: a run on the 2,100-metre gravity kart track. The zipline circuit, the 21 cables, the 900-metre flight, the 360-degree giant swing, the abseil, the five sky bridges, the six staircases, the unlimited buffet and the transfer are identical. The kart costs 200 THB more, and since it is the only track of its kind in Thailand, most people find that worth paying — but the circuit itself loses nothing.
Maximum 110 kg per person, and children under four are not recommended. No minimum weight is printed on the brochure, so if you are booking for a small child, tell us their weight and age and we will confirm with the site before you pay.
The circuit includes flights of 350 and 400 metres and a maximum of 900 metres. Twenty-one cables in total across 38 platforms, so you spend a large share of the two hours actually in the air rather than queuing.
Sport shoes are compulsory — they are listed as required kit alongside the harness and helmet. Comfortable sports clothing, ideally shorts or leggings, since the harness passes around your waist and between your legs. The operator specifically recommends bringing a camera, sunscreen and mosquito repellent.
Budget around six hours door to door. The operator pairs each pick-up window with a drop-off exactly six hours later, of which up to two hours is activity and the rest is driving and lunch. The site is beyond Doi Saket, further out than the Mae Rim courses.
It is included in the package and it is the natural finale of the circuit, but nobody is pushed onto it. If you get to the platform and change your mind, say so — staff are used to it and there is no argument.
Light rain does not stop the circuit. Staff hold the group for heavy rain, thunder or lightning and restart once the cables are safe. If a whole departure is cancelled for weather, we move you to another date or refund you in full.
