Cancellation Policy
At El Norte de Tailandia, we understand that unexpected situations can arise during a trip, especially for first-time visitors to Asia. We always strive to be empathetic and take each situation into account.
However, a cancellation without a valid reason affects us as a company and, more importantly, harms the group that has already committed to that date.
For this reason, we do not accept cancellations or issue refunds without a valid reason.
To avoid misunderstandings regarding what constitutes a “valid reason,” Northern Thailand reserves the right to evaluate each case and may issue a refund as a courtesy when it is demonstrated that an external factor beyond the customer’s control prevented them from attending the tour.
The following are considered valid reasons (provided the relevant documentation is submitted):
Date Changes
Date changes are subject to the same policy as cancellations.
For example: if you book for the 14th and that tour already has a confirmed group, and then you ask to change your reservation to the 15th, we may not have availability on that day (either because there is no tour scheduled or because it is fully booked).
In that case, we may not always be able to reschedule them for the new date requested.
For this reason, we ask that you commit to our tours just as you would to a hotel or flight, since every reserved spot requires advance planning and a commitment to the rest of the group.
